Skillet Beef and Noodles

This simple skillet combination is made with salsa and corn, giving the dish a Tex-Mex twist. Use your favorite salsa in this easy beef and noodle recipe.

Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 8 ounces medium egg noodles
  • 1 cup frozen whole kernel corn, thawed
  • 1 cup thinly sliced green onions
Sauce Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup salsa, thick and chunky style
  • 2 cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

Instructions:

Brown ground beef in large skillet; drain excess fat. Stir in all remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes or until noodles are cooked.
Serves 4 to 6.
