Skillet Beef and Noodles
This simple skillet combination is made with salsa and corn, giving the dish a Tex-Mex twist. Use your favorite salsa in this easy beef and noodle recipe.
Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 8 ounces medium egg noodles
- 1 cup frozen whole kernel corn, thawed
- 1 cup thinly sliced green onions
Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup salsa, thick and chunky style
- 2 cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
Instructions:
Brown ground beef in large skillet; drain excess fat. Stir in all remaining
ingredients. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 10 to
12 minutes or until noodles are cooked. Serves 4 to 6.
