DIY Ranch Dressing Mix

Homemade ranch dressing for salads and dips.


This ranch style dressing mix is similar to the purchased envelopes. When you're in a pinch and don't have the real thing, try this substitute! Use the mixture to make dip or salad dressing, or sprinkle over a salad as a seasoning. This mixture is great in yogurt or sour cream as well.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:




Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients; blend thoroughly.
  2. Store the mix in a tightly covered container or sealed food storage bag.
To make dressing:
To 1 cup mayonnaise, add 1 tablespoon of the dry mixture and 1 cup of buttermilk; blend well.

To make dip:
Mix 1 tablespoon of the dry mixture with 8 ounces of plain yogurt.

Makes about 1/2 cup of dry mixture.

Calories per 2 tablespoons dressing prepared with buttermilk and mayonnaise: 128
