Coleslaw Recipe
Old-Fashioned Coleslaw
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup buttermilk, low-fat is find
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 teaspoon celery seed
dash Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground sweet paprika
4 cups fresh shredded cabbage
In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise and buttermilk; blend in the vinegar, prepared mustard, celery seed, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika. Add the cabbage to the mixture and toss until cabbage is thoroughly coated.
Serves 4 to 6.
