Sesame Seed Cookies

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • pinch salt
  • 1 egg, beaten with 2 tablespoons milk
  • 3/4 to 1 cup sesame seeds







Mix all ingredients together in order given; knead a few times. Roll small piece of dough, about 1 teaspoon, to shape into a cookie about 2 inches in length. Dip cookie in beaten egg, then roll in sesame seeds. Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 375° for 10 to 15 minutes.

Makes about 2 1/2 dozen sesame seed cookies.
