Quick and Tasty Bean Bake

These doctored canned beans are great for cookouts or take them along to a potluck.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 23 minutes
Total Time: 33 minutes

2 cans (about 15 1/2 ounces each) baked beans in tomato sauce
1 cup gingersnap cookie crumbs
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons molasses
1 tablespoon chopped onions
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
3 slices bacon

Instructions:

Mix beans with gingersnaps, ketchup, molasses, onions, and salt. Pour mixture into a greased 1-quart casserole. Top with bacon and bake at 375° for 20 minutes. Set under broiler to crisp the bacon.
Serves 6.
