Easy Cheesecake Dessert Squares

Delicious cheesecake squares are topped with cherry pie filling and, optionally, sour cream.

Cook Time: 35 minutes
Total Time: 50 minutes

• 1 1/3 cups graham cracker crumbs
• 1/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/3 cup melted butter
• 12 ounces softened cream cheese
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup sour cream, optional
• cherry pie filling or fresh fruit, for topping, if desired

Instructions:

Mix together the graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter; press into bottom and up sides of a buttered 8-inch square baking pan.
In a mixing bowl with electric mixer, beat together the cream cheese, eggs, granulated sugar, and vanilla until very creamy. Pour cream cheese mixture into prepared crust. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes. Spread sour cream over the top; cool. Serve topped with cherry pie filling or fresh fruit if desired.
