Caramel Date Pie
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, packed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 eggs
1 2/3 cups evaporated milk
1 cup dates, chopped
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 pie crust, unbaked, 9-inch
Combine brown sugar, salt, flour, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Blend in eggs, evaporated milk, dates and nuts. Pour mixture into the unbaked pastry shell. Bake at 375° for 50 minutes, or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
