Spiced Glazed Ham

  • 6 to 8 pounds half ham, fully cooked
  • whole cloves, optional
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup prepared mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon each cinnamon and nutmeg

Bake the fully cooked ham at 325° for about 10 minutes per pound, or until meat thermometer registers 130°. If using an uncooked ham, follow packaging directions or bake 22 to 25 minutes per pound, or until meat thermometer registers 160°.

About 30 minutes before ham is done, remove from oven and remove the rind. Score ham. If desired, insert whole cloves into the diamond-shaped sections. Combine remaining ingredients; brush ham with the mixture. Return to oven and brush a few times during the remaining baking time.
