Peanut Jelly Bars

These easy peanut jelly bars are made with butter, brown sugar, oats, peanuts, and your favorite jam or jelly.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 25 Minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes


Instructions:

  1. Heat the oven to 400 F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, salt, and soda; add to the creamed mixture, stirring until well blended. Stir in rolled oats and chopped peanuts.
  4. Press half of the crumb mixture into the bottom of a buttered 9-by-13-by-2-inch baking pan. Spread with jelly; sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Cool and cut into bars.
