Swiss Chicken Casserole
This chicken casserole is similar to a hot chicken salad, made with salad dressing, stuffing, and Swiss cheese. A one dish meal for an easy everyday family dinner.

Total Time: 35 minutes
- 4 cups cooked chopped chicken
- 2 cups sliced celery
- 2 cups herb-seasoned stuffing cubes
- 1 cup salad dressing (Miracle Whip)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- dash pepper
- 8 ounces shredded or sliced Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds*
Instructions:
*To toast almonds, spread out in a single layer on a baking sheet. Toast in a 350° oven, stirring occasionally, for 8 to 12 minutes. Or, toast in an ungreased skillet over medium heat, stirring, until golden brown and aromatic.
If using cheese slices, cut into small strips.
Combine chicken, celery, stuffing cubes, salad dressing, milk, green onion, salt, pepper, and Swiss cheese. Sprinkle with toasted almonds.
Cover casserole and bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Remove cover and continue baking 10 minutes longer.
