Meringue Topping for Pie

Use this fluffy meringue topping for your favorite butterscotch or chocolate pie, or use it for a lemon or key lime pie.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes

  • 2 egg whites
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla



Instructions:

Beat eggs until frothy. Add sugar gradually and continue beating until stiff peaks form. Add vanilla. Pile on pie and bake at 325° for >15 to 18 minutes.
