Barbecued Spareribs
These tender pork spareribs are barbecued in the oven with a tasty sauce.
- 4 pounds pork spareribs
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
Spareribs recipe directions.
Arrange spareribs in a large baking dish or roasting pan. Add onions;
sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine remaining ingredients; pour
over spareribs.
Cover and bake in at 350° about 1 1/2 hours, basting
frequently. Remove cover, and bake 20 minutes longer.
