Crockpot Country Style Ribs
These country style pork ribs are easy to prepare for the slow cooker, and they're cooked with a flavorful homemade barbecue sauce.
Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 8 hours
Total Time: 8 hours 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 3 pounds boneless country style pork ribs
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, quartered and sliced 1/4-inch thick
Sauce:
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup light soy sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Dash black pepper
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
Instructions:
Trim excess fat from ribs. In a large skillet, brown ribs on all sides in oil. Cover the country style ribs with sliced onion.
In a bowl combine all sauce ingredients; pour evenly over ribs and onions. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 7 to 9 hours, or on HIGH for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours.
Country style ribs recipe serves 4 to 6.
