Korean Barbecue Beef

  • 1 pound sirloin steak -- boneless
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 large green onion -- chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cooking wine
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • sesame oil -- for frying







Slice beef into 1/8-inch thick strips. Mix soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, and next 5 ingredients in shallow glass bowl. Add beef. Marinate in refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours.
Stir-fry beef in additional sesame oil in wok for 5 to 10 minutes or until beef is brown.
