German Beef Stew
This stewed beef is a simple recipe with German flavor. The stew is made with stew beef, a little sugar and vinegar, onions, and mushrooms. Serve this beef stew with hot cooked rice or noodles.

Total Time: 2 hours 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 pound lean stew beef
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 can (4 to 6 ounces) sliced mushrooms
- 1 can beef broth
Instructions:
Brown the stew beef. Add remaining ingredients except mushrooms.
Simmer for 2 hours. Add mushrooms. Thicken and serve over noodles.
