Apple Glazed Beef Brisket

This beef brisket is glazed with apple jelly, brown mustard, and other ingredients.

Cook Time: 3 hours 30 minutes
Total Time: 3 hours 40 minutes

Ingredients:


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 F.
  2. Place the beef brisket, onion, garlic and whole cloves in a large heavy saucepan or Dutch oven. Add water and cover. Simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until beef is tender. Drain.
  3. Combine apple jelly, mustard, green onions, salt, pepper and curry powder in small saucepan. Bring to a boil.
  4. Place drained beef in baking dish. Brush with the apple jelly mixture.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes, basting frequently with the apple jelly mixture.
