Saucy Spiced Meatballs
These spiced meatballs are made with beef, pork, potatoes, and a wonderful mixture of spices. They're cooked with a flavorful creamy sauce. Serve these meatballs with hot buttered noodles.

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds extra lean ground beef
- 1/2 pound lean ground pork
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup mashed potatoes
- 1/4 cup fine dry breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons seasoning salt
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
Instructions:
Throughly combine ground beef, ground pork, egg, mashed potatoes, bread crumbs, milk, seasoning salt, spices, and brown sugar. Blend well and shape into about twenty four 1 1/2-inch
meatballs. Roll lightly in flour. Place on rack of broiler pan in
preheated 400° oven for 20 minutes. Drain and place in crockpot. Pour beef broth over meatballs. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
Before serving, carefully remove meatballs to warm platter. Stir heavy
cream into broth in Crock pot; mix until smoth pour sauce over
meatballs, then sprinkle with the chopped parsley.
Serve as an appetizer or with noodles.
Makes 24 meatballs.
