Shrimp Creole

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • dash of white pepper
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined and cooked







In a heavy skillet over low heat, saute onion, garlic and green pepper for 8 to 10 minutes. Add tomatoes, seasonings and shrimp. Simmer for 5 minutes.
