Herbed Walnut Rice
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 c chopped onion
- 1/2 c shredded carrots
- 12 c chopped walnuts
- 1/4 tsp dried marjoram
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme leaves
- 1/8 tsp dried rosemary
- 3 cups cooked rice in chicken broth,Take 3 cups rice and cover rice
with a can of chicken broth
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
In a large skillet,melt the butter over med-high heat; add the onion
and carrot,walnuts,herbs and cook until vegetables are tender-crisp,
6 to 8 mins. Stir in the rice and parsley, and heat throughly.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
