Shrimp and Salsa

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onion
  • 1 4 oz. can choppped green chiles
  • 1 cup thick/chunky salsa
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • shrimp for 4 to 6
  • 8 oz fettucini or similar pasta

    Instructions:



    Saute garlic and onion in butter 3-4 min. Stir in chilies, salsa, and lime juice; cook until bubbly. Add shrimp and cook until pink. Pour over fettucini.

    Note: I have used chicken strips in lieu of shrimp - very good.
