Heat the butter in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the ham
steak and fry until browned, 5 to 8 minutes on each side.
Remove and keep warm. Add the apricot nectar to the pan drippings.
Bring to a boil, stirring frequently until the sauce reduces slightly and
becomes syrupy, about 4 minutes. Pour the sauce over the ham and serve.
Serves 4 to 6.
