Golfers' Crockpot Roast
Ingredients:
- 4 to 5 lb. beef roast
- 4 potatoes
- 2 onions
- 5 carrots
- Salt & pepper to taste
MARINADE:
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 5 oz. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 4 oz. Bourbon
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
Combine marinade ingredients. Marinate roast in refrigerator overnight. Next morning,
pare and cut vegetables into chunks. Place vegetables in crockpot.
Put roast on top and add 1/2 cup marinade. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 hour. Reduce heat to LOW and continue cooking for 7 to 9 hours.
