Peach Butter in the Crockpot

Ingredients:

  • 6 c. unsweetened peaches
  • 3 c. white sugar
  • 1 can (about 15 ounces) apricot halves, drained
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Instructions:

    Put peaches through food mill or food processor. Mix all ingredients together well and put in crockpot. Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours. Reduce heat to LOW, uncover, and continue cooking, stirring occasionally for 8 to 12 hours, or until very thick.
