Barbecued Bean Soup
Ingredients:
- 1 pound navy beans soaked overnight then simmered in water until tender
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 lbs. cubed ham
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground pepper
- 6 cups water
- 3/4 cups barbecue sauce
Instructions:
Drain beans well after simmering. Put all other ingredients
including fresh water in crockpot on low 8 to 10 hours. Serves 6 to 8. Serve with rice or salad and fresh bread or rolls.
