Barbecued Bean Soup

  • 1 pound navy beans soaked overnight then simmered in water until tender
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 lbs. cubed ham
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. ground pepper
  • 6 cups water
  • 3/4 cups barbecue sauce





Drain beans well after simmering. Put all other ingredients including fresh water in crockpot on low 8 to 10 hours. Serves 6 to 8. Serve with rice or salad and fresh bread or rolls.
