1 pound navy beans soaked overnight then simmered in water until tender
1 medium onion, chopped
2 lbs. cubed ham
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground pepper
6 cups water
3/4 cups barbecue sauce
Drain beans well after simmering. Put all other ingredients
including fresh water in crockpot on low 8 to 10 hours. Serves 6 to 8. Serve with rice or salad and fresh bread or rolls.
