Surprise Kisses
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Butter
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 2 1/3 cups Flour
- 3/4 cup Finely chopped nuts
- 36 Hershey kisses
- Powdered sugar
Instructions:
Cream the butter, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl until light
and
fluffy. Add flour and nuts; blend well. Shape about 1 tbsp dough
around
each kiss, covering it completely.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet
and
bake at 375 for 7 to 10 minutes or until set but not brown. Cool;
roll in
powdered sugar and store in an airtight container. Roll in sugar
again
Note:
Be sure not to overcook the cookies, or they will be hard to chew.
Also,
use the regular Kisses, as the almond filled ones really are full
of
"surprises" when chewed.
