Combine the butter, sugar, egg and vanilla, beat until light and
fluffy.
Combine the dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Refrigerate
for
at least 1 hour. In a small bowl combine walnuts, cranberries
and orange
peel.
On a floured surface roll the dough into a 10" square.
combine
brown sugar and milk and spread over the dough. Sprinkle with
the
cranberry mixture and roll up tightly. Wrap with wax paper and
chill for
several hours.
Cut into 1/4" slices. Bake on a well greased
cookie sheet
at 375F for 14 minutes.
