Baked Mac 'n Cheese
Cheddar cheese soup makes this macaroni and cheese a snap to prepare and bake.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 cans (10 3/4 ounces each) condensed Cheddar cheese soup
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 8 ounces macaroni or mini penne pasta, cooked and drained following package directions
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup soft bread crumbs
Instructions:
In 2-quart casserole, combine soup, milk, mustard and pepper. Stir in the drained
macaroni.
In a small bowl or cup, combine melted butter and bread crumbs; sprinkle over casserole.
Bake at 400° for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly and topping is lightly browned.
Serves 4.
