Bacon Noodle Bake

This easy layered casserole is an old-fashioned noodle bake made with sour cream, bacon, and other ingredients.

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 45 minutes
Total Time: 60 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 12 slices bacon
  • 8 ounces noodles
  • 1 1/2 cups cottage cheese, small curd
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 4 tablespoons chopped parsley

    Instructions:



    Fry bacon until crisp; drain on paper towels and crumble. Cook noodles as directed and drain. In a lightly greased 2-quart baking dish, layer about one-quarter of the noodles, one-quarter of the cottage cheese, one-quarter of the sour cream and one-quarter of the crumbled bacon. Sprinkle with one-quarter of the onion and parsley. Repeat layers 3 more times. Bake uncovered at 375° for about 35 minutes.
    Serves 4 to 6.
