Sweet Potatoes in Applesauce

This simple sweet potato bake is made with canned sweet potatoes, butter, brown sugar, and applesauce.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 35 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

• 1 can (16 oz) sweet potatoes, drained
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup applesauce
• 1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions:



Place sweet potatoes in a 1 quart casserole. Sprinkle with salt. Spoon applesauce over potatoes. Sprinkle with brown sugar; dot with butter.

Sprinkle with nutmeg.

Bake at 375° for 30 to 35 minutes.
Sweet Potato Casserole serves 4.
