Strawberry Bread Recipe

This strawberry bread recipe makes 2 loaves or strawberry pecan quick bread. Use fresh or whole frozen strawberries in this strawberry bread recipe. Ingredients:

  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 4 Eggs -- beaten
  • 2 cups Sliced strawberries
  • 1 1/4 cups Chopped pecans

    Instructions:



    Combine dry ingredients. Add eggs, oil, strawberries and pecans. Stir just until all ingredients are moistened. Spoon batter into 2 greased and floured 9x5x3-inch loaf pans. Bake at 350° F. for 60 to 70 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in pans 5 minutes, the remove and cool on wire racks.
