Recipe By : The Little Mountain Bean Bible Cookbook

  • 6 cups soybeans -- cooked until tender
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • salt -- to taste
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 medium onion -- whole
  • 2 tablespoons oil







Mix all ingredients except the onion. Place in bean pot or baking dish. Put the whole onion in the center. Bake in moderate oven, adding a little bean broth or tomato juice as needed to keep moist. Bake 1 hour or longer.
Serves 10
