Tortilla Roll Ups

Smoked Turkey Tortilla Roll-Ups
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely minced
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 4 ounces green or red chili salsa
  • 3 ripe avocado -- peeled
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pound smoked turkey -- cut paper thin
  • 6 flour tortillas -- warmed
  • salsa
  • OR corn relish







In small bowl, mix together jalapenos, cream cheese, sour cream and salsa until well blended; reserve. In another small bowl, mash avocado with lemon juice until fairly smooth; add onion powder and pepper and continue mashing until smooth. Thickly spread the tortillas with jalapeno and cream cheese mixture. Top mixture with turkey slices, then spread avocado mixture on top of turkey. Roll tortillas up like jelly rolls; slice burritos on bias into about 1/2- to 1-inch slices.
Serve with salsa or corn relish.
